Our primary business is to originate, underwrite and close commercial mortgage
loans. Loans are funded directly by Column. The closed mortgage loans are then
aggregated into pools and securitized. Credit Suisse provides underwriting,
rating agency, structuring and distribution expertise for Commercial Mortgage
Backed Securities. Column realizes that every transaction, every Client is
unique. We offer a breadth of lending programs, allowing us to utilize
innovative loan structures to create a "custom fit." Every loan is unique - we
create structures to accommodate and satisfy the borrower, which is key to
building long-term, trusting relationships.
We recognize that our people are our greatest strength, professionals who bring
a wealth of hard-won knowledge to the table. Our Loan Officers and Senior
Management have, on average, two decades of experience. Our managers come from
diverse backgrounds, including former developers, asset managers and mortgage
bankers. This breadth and depth of experience gives Column greater insight into
your needs, and the knowledge necessary to weather volatile market conditions.
Column provides a local presence to enable borrowers and mortgage bankers to
originate individual loans. We have 16 production offices throughout North
America to provide local services to borrowers.

consistently honors the quotes we give. Column has closed in excess of 7,400
commercial mortgage loans, with an aggregate principal balance of over $72
billion.
